Cleaning

Does your unit need a DEEP CLEAN? Has it been years since it’s been given some tender loving-care? Do you have pets or other household allergens?

Don’t worry, we’ve gotchu.

Here at Impact Heat Pumps we want your units running smoothly and efficiently, and that means annual cleanings. (But seriously, call us even if it’s been a while, we’re not scared..)

We recommend a deep clean be performed annually or every six months if you have pets, allergies, or other air quality concerns.

Routine Maintenance

Although you can clean most parts without bringing our wonderful technicians into your home, there are parts of a heat pump that should be maintained annually to ensure proper function of your heat pump.

With a scheduled maintenance appointment you can expect our technicians to :

• Lubricate mechanical components to reduce friction and resistance.

• Clear any obstructions from the condensate drain and check for (and fix) any cracks or leaks.

• Test heat pump controls to verify proper start up and shutdown, while inspecting the unit for problematic noise or vibration.

• Check (and clean) the air filter for dirt.

• Inspect pulleys, belts and other components for excessive wear.

• Measure refrigerant levels and recharge unit, if necessary.

• Monitor coil temperatures

• Check unit placement and elevation to ensure proper drainage and prevent problems from arising.

Relocation of Existing Units

Did you get a heat pump installed and now don’t LOVE the location of the outdoor unit?

Or did you do some remodeling and need an indoor unit relocated?

We can provide expert advice as to where the unit would best heat and cool your home so that you can decide where the best location would be. Then, we do ALL the heavy lifting, literally. Our technicians will uninstall and reinstall the unit to agreed upon specifications and ensure it is fully functioning before departure.

Emergency Service

Is it a night, weekend or holiday?

Don’t fret here. We provide emergency response for all Impact Heat Pump installed heat pumps.

We understand you may only have one heating source, or lean heavily on your heat pumps. So if it gets chilly or far too hot in your home we will respond and diagnose your unit immediately.
